Hello Fritch,
Being a part of the city council was not on my radar. I’m not politically minded or even business-minded. Yet, I know that unless we step up and do our part, we can’t complain about the outcome. Watching our country over the last few years has taught me the importance of our involvement. We will get exactly what we put into it. It’s our responsibility to one another and to our children to work hard to provide a safe, secure, and economical environment in which we may thrive. Those who bear truth and wisdom have the responsibility to put principles in place that promote life and liberty. I grew up in Fritch. In my younger years, I experienced a taste of what it’s like on the other side. Living life without caring about anything is destructive. I want to be a part of the solution, but I’m only one person. It takes a team—rather, a family—to make it work. It can be overwhelming to bear the burden and responsibility for the good and future of others. But one thing I’ve learned that keeps me focused is that, though you may not feel equipped for the task, the only real requirements are a love for truth and others, and an ambition to do the hard thing. We will make mistakes. The key is to learn from them and let those mistakes grow us. I am committed to serving in whatever capacity our “Fritch Family” needs. For now, it is as mayor. I hope one day we can look back on a Fritch that is thriving and alive with prosperity and opportunity—something that our children’s children can enjoy and be proud of. That is my desire and drive for our community. Thank you for letting me serve and love you!
